If you see a similar name appear on the register and feel a complaint should be logged with Companies House please get in touch. A company can be forced to change its name at Companies House within 12 months of registration if the opinion of the secretary of state is that the name is too similar to another registered name. (Section 67 of the Companies Act 2006.)
Any person can also apply to the company names adjudicator if a name would be likely to mislead clients (section 69 of the Companies Act 2006).
