What determines which package you purchase will depend on the following:
The software formation package is a digital formation. Your essential documents can be downloaded and printed from your customer account. If you do not need any other services this is the best option for you.
The compliance package is for customers who would like to keep their personal details private.
Your company requires a Registered Office. This is the legal address of the business and where Companies House, the Inland Revenue and other official bodies will post your official documents to. Registered Office addresses are displayed on public record at Companies House and easily accessible to anyone. If you don’t want your home address to be on public records and you don’t have a suitable alternative address, you can use our Registered Office address. We will digitally forward all official mail to you as part of this service.
During the company formation you must also provide a service address for each individual involved with your company (director/shareholder etc). The service address is also easily accessible to anyone who would like to find it. If you don’t want your home address to be on public records and you don’t have a suitable alternative address, Duport can provide you with a service address that keeps your personal details off public record.
Please note that if you do not require a registered office address but do still require service addresses it’s more economical to purchase the software package and add the service address as an extra.
Also within this package you receive a digital company register (which is something you are obliged to keep) and printed copies of all your essential documents. This package is renewable at the same cost each year if you would like to continue using our address & mail forwarding service.
The instant trading package includes all of the above plus Companies House filing service. This service is ideal for professionals who don’t want to spend their time completing complicated forms!
It’s a criminal offense not to file your annual Confirmation Statement and Company Accounts and can result in directors prosecutions. Additionally, filing your company accounts late will result in fines.
Our service covers the cost of electronically filing up to 5 Companies House documents from the list below:
- Confirmation statement
- Dormant Company Accounts (if your company is trading an accountant will need to file your accounts)
- Director/Secretary/PCS appointments and removals
- Officer and Company Address changes
- Allotment of Shares
