development grants from futurebuilders england
Organisations that have applied to Futurebuilders for investment but need to develop plans or capacity before proceeding.

Properly constituted third sector organisations who want to improve public services can apply.

Futurebuilders offers a combination of loans, grants and professional support to build the capacity of third sector organisations who want to deliver better public services. Although the loan is always the largest part of a Futurebuilders investment, grants and consultancy support are often included with the overall package. The level of development grant funding available is decided on a case-by-case basis, related to the additional work required to get the organisation in position to take on a full investment.

It is not possible to apply directly for a development grant – they are intended to be part of an overall investment package. Futurebuilders offers development grants to support a wide variety of work, including improving business plans, working to win contracts, improving financial planning or looking at new markets for services. Once this work is completed, the development grant holder is expected to reapply for a full Futurebuilders investment.
