This is done in the &#8216;Manage Domain&#8217;, &#8216;DNS Mangement&#8217; section in your Control Panel. Add the below record into the text box of the TXT Record. You can only have 1 spf record at any one time, and only if we host your emails.<\/p>\n<p><strong>v=spf1 include:secureserver.net exists:%{i}.mta.spf.extendcp.co.uk exists:%{i}.web.spf.extendcp.co.uk -all<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>How do I create a new email account for my domain name?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Log into your Control Panel<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u2018Mail Boxes\u2019 under \u2018Email\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under \u2018Email Address\u2019, enter in the name you would like the account to have (such as <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your.name@your-domain.co.uk<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u2018Add\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The account will now be created and you can see it under \u2018Modify Mail Boxes\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have created the mailbox, it can take up to 60 minutes to be fully in place, but after that time, you will be able to send and receive emails to that address.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>How can I access my emails?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can access your emails via<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your hosting account <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/login<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outitgoes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.outitgoes.com<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Third party mail client, such as Outlook, Mac Mail or mobile device.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>What is an IMAP?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By using an IMAP connection, you can have multiple clients simultaneously connected to the same mailbox. For example, you can have email on your phone, your tablet, and your computer, and when you delete a message from your phone, it will also be deleted on your other devices, for this reason we recommend using IMAP over POP3.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>How can I change my DNS records?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have domain and hosting you can access your domains control panel via your hosting account log in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/login<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> then click Manage Domain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have domain name only you will need to contact support@duport.co.uk to request your control panel password.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>How can I change my NameServers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Email support@duport.co.uk<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>How can I deal with spam\/junk mail?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Unfortunately spam emails are a fact of life, we all get them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, there are some filters within your control panel. These can be found under \u2018Junk Mail Filters\u2019 within the Email section of the control panel.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are receiving a lot of spam mail from one specific sender, you can block that sender. Simply put in the \u2018reject by sender\u2019 section and click \u2018update\u2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Receiving spam from multiple addresses: under the \u2018Junk Mail Filter Levels\u2019 you have the options of Low, Medium, High and Extremely High. You can choose the level you required from the drop-down arrow within this area of the control panel. We would advise only going up by one level at a time and checking that emails are not miss filtered into junk.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>What is an SSL certificate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SSL certificates are an essential part of website security. They ensure all data passed between a web server and browsers remains secure. That\u2019s why web browsers are pushing all websites to have SSL certificates, and are marking those without them as \u201cNot Secure<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>How to order an SSL certificate?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/ssl-certificate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.duport.co.uk\/domain-registration\/ssl-certificate<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>How can I transfer my domain to another provider?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To transfer any domain ending in .uk you will need to request an IPS tag from your new provider. Email the IPS tag to support@duport.co.uk and we will transfer your domain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To transfer .com, .net. org you will need to contact support@duport.co.uk. We will unlock your domain and email you your domain\u2019s authorisation code which you will need to give to your new registrar.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Why can\u2019t I send emails?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your mailbox could be full.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Log into your domain control to check your mailbox capacity.\u00a0 If it\u2019s nearing 100% you will need to delete some of your emails or increase your mailbox size.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>How can I increase my mail box?<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each mailbox has a standard capacity size of 1GB.\u00a0 You can increase each mailbox, the first increase doubles the size taking it to 2GB and cost \u00a320 per year. Each increase after that is an additional \u00a312 and increases by 2GB, up to 10GB.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To increase the mailbox please call the office on 01179502667.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Wrong Outgoing Mail Server<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your Outgoing Mail Server should be <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/mta.extendcp.co.uk\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mta.extendcp.co.uk <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Outgoing Mail Server password is missing or wrong<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Retype your password.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Check you are typing in the correct password by accessing web mail\u00a0 \u2013 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.outitgoes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.outitgoes.com<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4. The Authentication<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your Outgoing Mail Server should be set up to authenticate using your password. If any option which enables Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is turned on, try turning this off.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">5. The SMTP Server Port<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We encourage the use of port 587 for sending emails, if you are unable to use this port, try port 465.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sending on port 25 is not permitted.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>I\u2019ve Forgotten my mailbox password<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Log into your Control Panel<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click \u2018Mail Boxes\u2019 under \u2018Email\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Type in a new password under Change Password<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click Modify<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your mailbox will be unavailable for up to five minutes after you change your password.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>How to fix a full Email box\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your email\/ mailbox is full you will need to free up or purchase more storage space.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To free up some space you need to first access your email account using the webmail <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.outitgoes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.outitgoes.com<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once you have logged in click on settings to make sure the &#8216;Thread support&#8217; section is switched off. Save the change if made.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All of the folders in the mailbox contribute to the size of the account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will need to save\/ back up any emails as once they have been deleted from here we cannot get them back.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You will need to delete any emails you no longer need and also delete them from deleted items\/trash.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deleting mail can also be done from the mail client if your email has been set up as IMAP.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To add extra storage\u00a0 (2gb to 10gb) please contact the office.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>How to connect a domain to WiX\/ Square Space website:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Connecting your domain to another provider can be done in 2 ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your hosting is with Duport and you want to redirect your website but keep your email facility with Duport you will need to provide us with the new websites DNS records.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are usually an A record and\/or Cname record.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A records are an IP address such as: 12.34.567.4<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And a Cname record is usually: <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thisisdns45.net\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.thisisdns45.net<\/span><\/a><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will be provided to you from the website provider by email or found within the account you have with them- for example your WIX account.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have a domain name only service with us or your new provider is going to host your website and emails then you will need to provide us with the new hosting providers\u2019 NAMESERVERS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These can vary between 2 and 4 servers which usually look like:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ns1.nameserver.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ns1.nameserver.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ns2.nameserver.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ns2.nameserver.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a support page for our domain and hosting customers.
