Recent research from Duport.co.uk has shown that company formation reached an all-time high in Bath during 2013.
The annual Duport Business Confidence Report for Ipswich has revealed both positive and negative economic statistics for the area during 2013.
Stoke-on-Trent experienced a surge in new company formations during 2013, according to figures in the latest Duport Business Confidence Report for the area.
Young director appointments are on the rise in Bedford, according to the latest Duport Business Confidence Report for the area. Between January and June, the percentage of director appointments under 25 years old stood at 6%, compared to 2% during the same period in 2011.
South West Bedfordshire has also seen a rise in numbers of apprentices recently, with 280 people entering apprenticeships last year. This follows a large scale government initiative to increase apprenticeship opportunities. In 2011, £1.4bn was spent to create more than 450,000 apprenticeships, a 63% rise on the previous year.
