Further good news for Doncaster comes in the form of £46.9 million of funding secured by Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. The funding is to bring local properties up to a decent living standard, which should also stimulate the economy by creating work for local businesses and tradesmen.
Managing Director of Duport.co.uk, Peter Valaitis said:
"The recession has had a significant impact on women, so it is encouraging to see a rising number of female directors in Doncaster - whether they are being appointed to outside companies or setting up their own businesses.
"Our latest report highlights several interesting statistics for the area, some of which are very positive. For instance, as well as a rise in female directors, there has also been a rise in net company growth during recent months."
