emergency budget 2010: NI breaks for first 10 employees

New businesses outside the south-east and London will have a £5,000 employers’ National Insurance exemption for each of their first 10 employees.

To encourage SMEs to expand and to improve the employment rate, George Osborne has announced NI exemptions for companies for their first 10 workers.

This only applies to companies outside London, the south east and the east of England, to address the imbalances between the regions, and to encourage more business development outside the City and surrounding regions.
