Half of the 4.3 million companies in the UK which employ fewer than 10 people have a website, showing that whilst many small companies are still missing out on the opportunities of having an online presence, sole traders are vastly underrepresented online.

With the internet being an important tool for customers to look for services and products, the number of businesses and sole traders who are still unrepresented on the web is a concern.
