A graduate recruitment website aimed at connecting new graduates with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been introduced by careers publisher Graduate Prospects, the company announced.
Using Prospects Net (PNet), SMEs which are seeking new employees with particular skills can browse for participating graduates in their area.
In addition to contact details and skills information, PNet offers an events management service, advice and other add-ons.
Felix Velarde, managing partner of digital agency Underwired, which is promoting the software, said: "We are impressed with Graduate Prospects' great depth of knowledge across the careers marketplace.
"We believe our campaign will help PNet become a vital tool for employers recruiting in the graduate market."
The agency focused its approach on promoting how PNet minimises the amount of time that SMEs spend filtering through CVs by providing accurate search results, he explained.
In related news, minister for industry and the regions Margaret Hodge recently chaired the first meeting of the Small Business Forum, aimed at helping SMEs in Britain.
