Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Chester can receive advice about how to dispose of their waste on Monday, April 2nd.
Advice about the legality of waste disposal, as well as answers about registered waste carrier requirements, will be offered by the Environment Agency Wales and Chester City Council.
The event has been organised as part of the council's efforts to combat fly-tipping and raise awareness about legal obligations regarding waste.
Sam Higgitt, agency project officer with the Business Resource Efficiency and Waste (Brew) campaign, said: "We appreciate that the waste laws can be complicated, but it is better for your business to dispose of waste legally rather than face the prospect of enforcement action or fines if you choose to operate outside of the law."
As an added incentive, session attendees will be given a free breakfast consisting of a bacon butty.
Brew was created in April 2005 to help businesses reduce the amount of waste they send to landfills.
