document small businesses encouraged to host 'webinars' back
january 2007

Small businesses in the UK could benefit from advice being given to those in the US in order to attract customers who may be widely dispersed throughout the country.

Webinars are online seminars which give the presenter and audience a chance to interact, giving small or new companies the ability to reach a wide range of potential customers "with the same sophistication and impact as companies in the Fortune 500", claims Citrix Online.

The webinars allow businesses to design their own presentations and potentially save money and time which might be more effectively used to focus on other areas of company formation.

"No small business has extra time or money to waste," agrees Mike Mansbach, vice president of product marketing at Citrix Online.

And using online seminars, he continued, gives "a significant competitive advantage".

In related news, the Federation of Small Businesses has recently set the government a number of challenges to ensure that small firms are protected and encouraged to grow during 2007.
