It has been announced that the Startups Awards 2007 will be held on October 31st at the Royal Garden Hotel in London.

These awards celebrate the achievements of start-up businesses and individuals across the UK in categories such as "Retailer of the Year", "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" and "Best use of Technology".

As well as the awards themselves, the ceremony is also a social event, giving people the opportunity to network with other start-ups and successful entrepreneurs as well as being an entertaining evening out of the office.

The Award winners will be chosen by a panel of judges, including experts and entrepreneurs from the field of small business, such as co-founder of Firebox, Michael Smith and Martin Webb, entrepreneur and presenter of "Risking it All" on Channel 4.
