A small business scholarship course is still open to those who want a little guidance on making their ideas a reality, it has emerged.
Funded by the Learning and Skills Council, the New Entrepreneur Scholarships Programme aims to help people living in disadvantaged areas start a business career.
The King's Lynn course currently has places available through the Norfolk and Waveney Enterprise Services (NWES), the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press reports.
Advice, support and over 90 hours of training in business and personal skills are available to those who take the plunge.
Learners will also benefit from a mentor-led exercise in completing a business plan, as well as the potential to complete an NVQ or qualify for a start-up loan to help with company formation and development.
Nick Daubney, from the King's Lynn NWES, commented: "NWES has recognised the need to assist with the funding of good business ideas or expansion plans in cases where traditional sources are unable to assist."
The NWES is also promoting the Enterprise-GY Spirit of Enterprise awards in Great Yarmouth.
