Who they are
Companies House lies at the centre of Duport Associates core services. Since 1844 the UK has had a system in place for company registration. A Government body, UK Companies House is responsible for the registration (incorporation) and dissolving of Limited Companies. It is also responsible for storing statutory company records (as detailed by the companies act 1985 & 1989) where they may be inspected by the public.

Any qualifying member of the public, any where in the world can register a company directly with Companies House. It is a complicated and lengthy process with lots of red tape, which is why the majority of people would use an Accountant, solicitor or a Company Formation agent to register a company on their behalf. These days most Accountants and solicitors prefer to use a Company Formation agent on behalf of their client.
