50% of costs to a maximum of £25,000.
This grant is made available towards the cost of improving and extending industrial properties. To qualify for the 50% aid intensity the property will have to remain in the use for which the grant was approved for a period of 5 years.

Grant support for installing energy efficiency measure for businesses in Merthyr Tydfil.
50% of costs to a maximum of £10,000.
This grant is to help offset the costs of installing energy efficiency measures. The value of grant is up to 50% of the project cost with a maximum grant of £10,000, and is available until 2005.

This grant is designed to assist in the cost of establishing a professional web presence. Up to £500 or 50% of the cost of employing a consultant, whichever is lower.

tourism development grant
Grant support for businesses in the tourist industry based in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough. 50% of project costs, to a maximum of £3,000.
This is a grant to support small-scale tourism investment projects. The grant is intended to complement the Wales Tourist Board scheme, which can support larger scale projects. This scheme is intended to support visitor attractions and providers of visitor accommodation.
Applicants will have to demonstrate a proven tourism use. To qualify projects must also result in an increase in visitor numbers. Pubs and restaurants will not be eligible for support.
