For building repairs up to maximum £2,000 (25% of cost). For individuals and organisations working in West Lindsey region of Lincolnshire.
These grants offer support towards the costs of repairing historic buildings. They are principally aimed at listed buildings, or historic buildings within conservation areas. The grants are discretionary and cannot be offered after the work has been completed.

£10,000 -£100,000. Business development for SMEs - focusing on high quality, innovative, knowledge-based projects that provide skilled jobs.
Manufacturing and service businesses within eligible areas of the East Midlands. Businesses in the service industry should supply a national rather than local market.
The minimum level of grant is £10,000; the maximum is generally £100,000. The greater part of the funding for the project should be met by the applicant. Funding can be provided to:
• Establish a new business;
• Expand, modernize or rationalize an existing business;
• Set-up research and development facilities;
• Enable a business to take the next step from development to production.
The grant must be necessary to enable the project to go ahead as planned. There must be no prior commitment to the project.

The project must involve expenditure on fixed assets, e.g. land, property, plant and machinery. Certain other costs of a non-recurring nature, such as patent rights and professional fees may also qualify.
jobs and skills
The project should create new jobs or safeguard existing employment. The more your project increases skills and involves investment in the skills base, the more likely its eligibility for funding. The project will normally be expected to become profitable within three years.
quality of your project
It is intended that the majority of support should be focused on high quality, innovative, knowledge-based projects that provide skilled jobs. The emphasis is on raising productivity and improving the skills base in the eligible areas. Projects will be expected to provide the majority of jobs at NVQ level 2 and above.

South Kesteven District Council 50% of eligible expenditure, up to a maximum of £5,000. Available to new or existing businesses located within South Kesteven, Lincolnshire with less than 15 employees.
All types of businesses (sole traders, partnerships, limited companies) can apply. Applicants need to demonstrate that the business development will create new or safeguard existing jobs and help in the development of the business. The grant can be used for a range of marketing, training or essential equipment. The grant cannot be used for goods/services purchased prior to the approval of an application.

The scheme helps members wishing to attend exhibitions or export products overseas. A grant of up to £500 is available towards the cost.

EEDAS grant for small businesses in West Lindsey, Lincolnshire to support economic development. 25% of eligible costs to a maximum of £5,000.
EEDAS
Available to businesses with less than 10 full time employees operating from a single location in the district. Retail and personal service businesses are not eligible unless they are an essential community facility. The following are examples of the prioritized areas for eligible expenditure:
• Job Creation;
• Capital Purchases;
• Accredited Staff Training;
• Specialist Consultancies leading to a recognised accreditation;
• Test marketing for business start-ups;
• Energy Saving and Waste Minimization schemes;
• Removal of employment barriers in rural areas – particularly those relating to women, youth and people with disabilities.
Grant amounts vary and are dependant upon a scoring system. A project will only be considered for grant assistance if it can be shown that without it the project would not go ahead.

childcare start-up grant
£281 available for new and established child minders living in Leicester. This includes a social services registration fee, insurance, small safety equipment, first aid kit and book, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, National Childminding Association membership and other items that can help when setting up as a childminder. For some established childminders grants are available for equipment and toys when providing additional services like special needs care and caring for children of shift workers. All childminders will receive support, advice, training opportunities and use of the toy and equipment library.
